I held various roles in bathing across different shops, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of pet temperament and behavior. Over the span of a year, I progressed through a grooming apprenticeship, and have since graduated to become a dog groomer.

I have been a groomer for over 3 years and it's been the best job I've ever had. Growing up, I always watched shows on Animal Planet about dog breeds, behaviors, and anything else I could learn about dogs and cats. I've always wanted to work with animals so I got a certification as a vet assistant but I couldn't handle the surgeries as well as I thought I could! Grooming has allowed me to work with animals and gain more knowledge every step of the way. I treat each dog as my own, making sure they are comfortable with me before grooming. When I'm not pampering pets at work, I like to workout, read, write, draw, and watch dramas.

My name is Jennifer and I have enjoyed working with dogs for years. I started out volunteer at humane society, then decided to go to school for veterinary assistance. I worked in veterinary hospitals for about 10 years, then decided to learn how to do haircuts. I have been grooming for 3 years and worked in veterinarians and pet grooming salons. My favorite breed to groom is the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
